baby leo with a bigger leo - yes / no ?

so i currently have 2 geckos, which were both bought from a pet store at about a month old. one is a male, one a female. the male is my boyfriend's and will soon be going to live with him, so i'm thinking about buying another gecko to keep my Bella company. she is now about 6 months old, so should i buy another leo that is at least 6 months, or can i buy a baby again?
i'm not too familiar with the dominance & bullying when it comes to these lil guys.. any advice would be great! thanks

Don’t keep geckos together if they’re not of similar size, the larger one may eat the little one.

That male should not be in with that female, she is too young to be housed with a male. when you get another it should be the same size. and it will need to be quarantined for at least 30 days to make sure it is healthy. If you get another male make sure they are not put together.

why is it too young to be housed with a male if theyre the same age? how old should the female be before being housed with a male?
stupid pet store told me theyd be fine together..

males and females should not be housed together until they are of proper breeding size and weight. Once they are you should not put them together until you are ready to incubate the eggs and are prepared for babies.

Because the male will try to mate with the female causing stress on the female and if she gets gravid/pregnant she wont be able to lay the eggs safely because of her size.
