Baby Leopard Gecko dropped...

I feel horrible. We finally have this tank set up, and we went and got the baby today at a local-ish pet store.

Long story short, he got dropped. Someone tried to pick him up (which shouldn't have happened in the first place) and they accidentally dropped him. About a 3 foot drop, and he landed on half carpet, half floor air vent. We got him back in, and he looked panicked, he didn't run, but he went over to one of his hides pretty quick and has been in there. Looks to be sleeping now. I hope he's ok...

Keep an eye don't worry to much Leo's can actually fall from a decent height and be fine

Thanks sdsb. He's moving around some with most of the light turned off. Still too scared to really check out the place, but I'm not as worried.

Geckos are pretty hardy, that's not to say you can throw them around haha but they can take a fall. I would only be worried if he's walking weird or one of his joints start to swell but I dont wanna scare you into anything. Little one is probably just confused and will get back to their normal self in a few days

I remember when my leo was a baby. I was holding her as I was working on taming her and she dove off my hand. Fell about 4 or 5 feet and landed on carpet. I was super worried, but she was and still is just fine.
