A juvie would probably do fine in that size, but a baby should probably be in something much smaller so it doesn't fall and hurt a leg/arm. A medium or large critter keeper would work best for a baby (and the critter keepers are pretty cheap, ~$8-$11 at my local pet store).

I also house hatchlings in faurnarium (critter keeper) they also find it hard to find food in a very large enclosure - plus you can monitor them much easier in the smaller ones :)

Yes, lots of people keep a single crested in an 12x12x18. Many prefer the 18x18x24 though, for extra space.

Babies should be housed in medium kk's, or 6qt containers, or 2 gallon tank, a 5 gallon would be good for a 5-8g gecko, then at around 10 gallons it can move into something around 10 gallons, or the exo you were interested in.

I personally prefer something a little larger than the 12 x 12 x 18 exo, which is equiv to 11 gallons, I prefer 15-20 gallons, but it will work fine.

Can a juvie/adult crestie live in a exo-terra 12x12x18.

It's a great size for a juvenile and an okay size for an adult. Like some others, I prefer the 18x18x24 for adults, but since I don't have the space for more than a few of those, some of my adults are in the 12x12x18.

In the larger sized tank, you're more likely to see a more active cresty than in the smaller ones.

I'm gonna have to put together a rhac rack soon...lol.
