My vet thought Gus was gorgeous. She couldn't get over how soft his belly was. lol! Despite him having pinworms, she thought he looked very good--bright eyes, fat tail. Weighed 89 grams. We gave him a dose of Pancur for the worms and she gave me some to take home for Rosa and Sophia because I suspect they are infected also. I'll drop off poop samples to her if I can get them. Not easy to collect a fresh poop from a leo! Usually they poop after I've gone to bed and it's too old and dry when I wake up.
The girls were hard to dose but I managed. Thank you Aliza and Heather for the tips. I managed to follow Sophia around dabbing her nose with it and she'd lick it up but Rosa had to be wrapped snugly in a towel and she was pissed! But I got it down her. Luckily it was a very small dose. I have to do it again on Friday then again in 2 weeks.
