Bad luck or what?

I have either the worst luck with my leos not eating, or I'm to paranoid!

Ok I have my RWPA and she is gravid, she isn't eating at all, she has had 1 mealworm this week so far, she is pooping normally, she is drinking water, also very active at all times day/night.

She is digging her lay box out all the time, I know I've heard this is normal for them not to eat but I thought they didn't eat for a couple days then lay eggs, then grub up some food. I'm just worried that there is something I am missing what do you guys think? Should I start to worry? She isn't loosing any weight in her tail or body really, still nice and fat.

As long as she is not loosing weight and is still acting normal I would not worry to much. My geckos go on strike sometimes too but it usually does not last long. If you offer her a waxworm or pinky She may go for it since it's something different and yummy.

Good idea brandy! My boyfriend has pinkies for his snakes so ill get one from him tonight when I get off work.

My gravid girls go from no days not eating to 4-5 before they lay, since she is digging, you are probably fine, if she digs for more than 3 days and does not lay Id get worried then.

She is eating now, she had 5 Mealworms tonight and she acted like she really wanted them, still fat and hasn't lost weight.

I thought a week ago she was going to lay but I think she was just getting use to her new lay box I added, it will be 5 weeks next week so then will see what happens, if not I'm taking her into the vet.

I'm glad she ate for you... if she is eating, she is not ready to lay her eggs!

I tried the pinkie to btw, it was frozen soo she didn't want it at all.

mine wont eat them dead either...they like to see them wiggle...geckos are so morbid lol

Well I gave her 2 wax worms, and 6 mealworms yesterday! She ate just fine so will see what happens! I'm ready for the friggin eggs already!! I thought she was ready a week ago, but I'm new to this and I have to learn to be patient I reckon.
