Bad News :(

Hey guys

We noticed aour little girl wasnt really putting on any weight although she was eating, but nowhere near as much as what she should, so today i took her to a specialist and he believes her little liver is gone as she has a tiny spot on her belly. she is still pretty active and alert so he said that was a good thing she had going for her, but he said from his experience it never really ends up well i was just wondering if any of you have had a similar experience and if your geckos have pulled through? if not i would still like to know, i really am upset even though we have only had her a few months the specialist said he will try his best but he isnt too hopeful! man...im super upset

just keep feeding her.
make the slurry (gecko soup) and get repta aid and jumpstart.
feed those along with her regular food.
keep her comfortable,
and id look for a second specialist for a second opinion.

i have tried hand feeding her, everything but that soup, which i will try if she comes back to us! we have left her with the specialist and he is gona try treat her and see how it goes, but i completely trust him, he was one of northern irelands first reptile stores to open and he has been going since 1988 which is longer than i have been alive!! so i know she is defo in the right hands!! im just hoping she will be ok, has anyone had this before with their geckos?

hey guys

went and seen my little girl today, she is sooo super small but Bryan (the gecko specialist) says so far all is looking good. she ripped the head off a big fat wax worm today and ate all her dinner last night too sooooo my hopes for her have picked up a bit we have to go back next monday to see how she is getting on, in the mean while Bryan is gona be monitoring her and watching what she eats etc! fingers crossed
