So one of my girls had a bad shed. Tried helping her and i think i tore some of her underbelly slightly. I know I'm not suppose to help, but this was day 3 skin and I did it with a q tip and warm water. Its slight should i do anything or will it heal over by itself?

Not bleeding its like when you lose first layer of skin, there is another layer under it but its just more tender. no blood at all

Something like this happened to my leo when he was a baby. He was hunting crickets and jumped at one right on the edge of his moist hide, but missed and scraped the front of his nose on the plastic. It didn't bleed like what your saying but its been 6 months (I think) and you can still see where he hit it. I just let it heal by itself.

something you didn't say was how you tried to help get the shed off? If there is ever stuck shed that they can't get off you need help put them in the sink or a tub with just enough warm water to get them wet ( make sure they don't struggle to keep head above it) and take a q-tip and gently rub the stuck shed with water and the q-tip to get it off. It may take 2or 3 times to get it all.
