Bad shed

My gecko has never had a bad shed before,so imagine my shock when i came down this morning to see him half out of his hide,with a stuck shed wig on his head.It was stuck round his eyelids,and he was trying to pull it with his foot,but kept making a crying noise So i quickly got a tub of warm water and gave him a soak,i used cotton buds and gently rubbed the shed from round his eyes,and he semed quite relieved when it started comming off from round his eyes It eventually came off and i checked his toes wich were fine.I saw a bit of loose skin on his tail,and discovered the shed was stuck right along the underside of his tail too poor thing had a really bad shed,i dont no why either as his moist hide was in there as usual :main_thumbsdown:

Don't worry too much mine have these occasionally..thats why its nice to handle your gecko's so that when they get some shedd stuck its not horribly scary for you to to do a little soaking and helping with the shed. Good on ya for checking and helping him out!
