A banana blizzard is actually a patternless blizzard. 2 genes honozygously expressed. The term banana blizzard was given to normal blizzards that have yellowing to charge more for a non genetic trait....;)

It's a yellowish blizzard and most fade a bit. Very cool , but not genetic from my findings.

How many generations would you say. The grand mother is Blizzard with yellow on sides here's a pic of the Blizzard females i've got with yellow. What would be a cool name for them since theres so much controversy about banana blizzard

Paul... very interesting. I thought the Yellow was line breed in the original Blizzards and thats why it expresses itself today even though we are breeding for whiter animals. Because back then they were breeding for more yellow animals?

I have been talking to Steve S. about this because I have a Giant Db project and I am trying to figure a few things out.

Unfortunately the false eclipse eye throws a huge wrench in the works when trying to figure out what might be DB.

I bred a 1.3 of mack blizzard het rw and they threw everything from dark non mack to yellow non macks(obviously mack bliz right up to SSRWBB too). I also bred a rwbb to the mack bliz het RW and it threw the same variations.

I would trust Steve or Garrick if they stated anything to contradicts my views (besides midnight and banana being a proven trait)
