Hey guys.
looking for a little help on this one
I am aware that due to trait linkage BB arnt as easy to produce as they should genetically be.
though when starting a project with a BB does this also mean the trait linkage works in your favour?

What i mean;
BB x normal/wildtype = 100% normal all het for both albino and blizzard.
By breeding these hets back together should you get 50% normal, 50% BB seeing the effect of trait linkage. Or a complete mix of blizzards, albinos and normals with a 'chance' of a BB?

Thanks for any help

Thanks for the reply.
Is it more probable from this pairing to get a BB? Or does it not make a difference on how the normals became hets?

it doesnt make a difference how the double hets became hets. A Blazing X normal gives double hets, and an albino X blizzard gives double hets. Both can produce blazings. But since it is a double recessive morph you could get normals, albinos, blizzards, and blazings from breeding them. And any of the first three mentioned could be possible hets. To get the best odds with a double het you would have to breed a blazing to a double het. And because of trait linkage the odds would still be lower than normal. Ive currently got BB X possible het BBs eggs in the incubator...
