Very nice, but you need to get them off that Sand ASAP!

im not nigel4less but sand causes impaction and it could kill your gecko so yes it will harm them by the way nice BB's

So how is impaction fixed if it actually happens? How do they get the sand out?

It's normally the gecko's demise and they die. They aren't normally able to pass it once they've ingested it, and for that reason they get an impaction.

I really think Paul's wording is better. Just because the gecko is on sand doesn't mean it WILL get an impaction, but obviously the chance is higher than for a leo that isn't kept on sand. ;) Just "keepin' it real".

But why take the Risk? I mean we've done enough research by now to realize that Leopard Geckos don't live on Dunes and Dunes of Sand like many people think. Whether or not your breeding them I just don't see what the purpose of keeping them on sand is. In my opinion Tile Looks a lot better anyways.
