This is Cocoa, and I picked her up from the Raleigh Repticon over the weekend. I still can't get over how dark she is, could not pass this little gem up! Now to get her nice and fat, hehe! :D

She's pretty. She may actually lighten up a lot once she's healthier. It's hard to say. Blizzards can change color a lot, too. Makes them a pretty cool morph.

Yeah she laid eggs the night I brought her home which was a surprise for me. Working on getting her back into peek condition; she doesn't seem to have trouble eating a lot!

I was almost tempted to get a different blizzard that was on the table with her; she was also dark, and had a regenerated tail that looked almost like black velvet!

I had to dispose of the eggs unfortunately, I don't have the necessary space or equipment to take care of eggs/hatchlings. I DO however want to breed someday, finding random eggs was very exciting.

I may even pair Cocoa up with another male someday, since she obviously has had breeding experience, haha.

Cocoa went through a shed last night. Had to soak her feet for stuck shed, but everything is taken care of. Skin looks a lot better and she's lightened up a little bit.

Also, she's eating like a total monster! :main_laugh:

I would keep her as a pet unless you know her full genetic background. It's great that you want to breed in the future and I wish you lots of luck!

I did get finally contact the breeder, and he said "Any of the blizzards are posted her for temper albino which makes blazing blizzards which are more white."

Not really sure what to make of that. I looked up that tremper albino is more of a recessive trait, is that right? So she possesses that recessive trait? Not entirely sure...I still have much to learn about genetics.

Here's the breeder's website: https://www.americanmadeexotics.com/
