Bedding for mealies? Good idea or no?

So I have decided to start using the Flukers high-calcium cricket diet as the bedding for my mealies in there containers. I am experimenting with about 100 mealies for now just to see how it goes, but they seem to go nuts for this stuff, along with the orange cubes which I throw a couple in also. Do you think this is a good idea or not?

It'll work.
What I find works even better, after having tried your method, is using a bedding of oats, bran, and cricket feed as well as potatoes, carrots, and any other vegetables I happen to have on hand. The worms are much fatter and I imagine more nutritious on this diet. I also have a very low death rate. I house/breed all of my worms the same way and it's very effective.
