beetle not laying eggs

i have about 40 mealworm beetles and ive had them for about a month and still no sight of baby mealies i dont even see any eggs stuck to the substrate with a magnifying glass i put carrots and eggcartons for shelter

Maybe they are there and just really small. Dont loose hope. Maybe try adding a piece of bark for them to lay eggs on. Eggs will be really visible on the dark bark.

what are your temps? I really dont have a problem I just wait a few weeks and you began to see tiny worms towards the bottom of the container. +

it stays around 70f-75f. and also is it normal for the weeker bettles to get eaten by others
