My brother and I put out Leos together for the first time. I have a female, and he has a male. They didn't really acknowledge each other for the first few minutes. But then they stared at each other for a minute, and then the male began to rattle the end of his tail, like a rattlesnake, and then chase the female around.
We have no intention of mating them. We just wanted to see what they would do when they saw another one of themselves for the first time. I was wondering what the tail rattling meant. Does it mean he wants to mate, is it a territorial thing, or is it a sign of aggression? And is it alright to put them together again? Thanks =D
