I do not know why I have such a tough time understanding Blizzards but I do.
I bought three juvy blizzards when they were wee little ones and the breeder sexed them using a loop. Well it turns out I have three girls instead of two girls and a boy. So what will I get if If I breed my Bell Albino to these girls? Or is it a stupid idea. I am buying another Blizzard soon but hes young. Also I plan to get some Midnight Blizzards and Blazing Blizzards soon too( to make it all easier). I just can't figure out what makes a Blizzard since there is no albino in it yet to make a blazing! Any help on this would be great! Thanks, Deb

If you breed a Bell to a Blizzard you will get all normals that are Het Bell albino and Blizzard. Then if you breed the babies back to each other you will get a mix of Blizzards, Bells, Normals , and possible Hets. And, if you are lucky, and I mean VERY lucky, you may get a Bell Blazing Blizzard. But, so far, their has only been 1 Bell Blazing Blizzard hatched, and many people are trying to be the second ones.

If you plan on breeding for the Bell Blazing as Jeanne explained.....good luck..... it is the Holy Grail of morphs right now. I have 3 female Blizzards that I will be pairing with a Bell this year, just to get some double hets. Kelli is the one that hatched out the first and only Bell Blazing Blizzard. It should be a 1/16 chance to hatch one out but it's being very allusive.

So is it a chance I should take or should I just wait for my young male Blizzard to grow up to just make Blizzards and get the Blazing Blizzards to make Blazing Blizzards? Thanks Jeanne and Felicia. Deb

Deb,

It's up to you. It will be a LONG project if you decide to do the Bell Blazing Bleizzard project though, people have been breeding them for at least 2 or 3 years and only 1 Bell Blaz Blizz has been hatched....OUCH

You can go for it, but theres a good chance sombody else is gunna hit it in the 07 season. I would just sell off the babies soon as u hatch them because they could go for 75 dollars if your lucky, but once a bell blazing hatches theyre near worthless.

You could try Mack Snow Blizzards. The male Mack Snow het Blizzard I had up for sale is actually a female so she's off the market, but I have another male available. Dan (Groovy Geckos) also has a VERY NICE male for sale.
