Bellatrix and Rodophus Ball - img heavy

I got this pair last night. They were a rescue pair but in excellent condition fortunately. Miss Bellatrix is a beast of a lady at 51" long and 3350 grams. Mr. Rodophus is a respectable 47" long and 1630 grams. They are a mated pair and she may be gravid. We have a vet trip scheduled for later this week to get them checked out although as I said they are in great condition given the circumstances.

Thank you! I'm so happy they are healthy. I was prepared for the first so it was a pleasant surprise. I did have to clean the enclosure outside because it was that disgusting but all in all a successful adoption for me I think. I think they're really lucky as the previous (fairly recent owner) was keeping them in a tub of water on top of a heating pad and that was the only heat they had.

Thank you! My 10 year old suggested Bellatrix so we googled to find her hubby's name since we couldn't remember it. We're a week in and they're doing fine. The original home must have been a great one with kids since this pair is sooooo gentle and calm. They even allow my 5 year old to touch their heads. Not head shy at all which I'm grateful for. It's so much easier than spending months handling them myself so that they kids can touch them all the time begging me to take them out. lol
