I'm a worry wort so there might not be anything wrong, but my leo Ahriman seems to have a belly full of air, it feels like. They're doing everything normal but I feel like there just may be a chance something is wrong.

About your leo:
- Sex: Unsexed, but I'm thinknig female
- Age & Weight: 6-7 months and I haven't checked the weight recently
- How long have you owned your leo: 3.5 months
- Where was he/she obtained (ex. Pet store, breeder, wild caught, friend): Local pet store

A) Health/History
- How often do you handle your leo: Once a week when changing repti-carpet out, and if they're in the way of cleaning the poo out (which I do everyday) i pick them up momentarily to move them somewhere else in the cage.
- Is your leo acting any different today? If so how does he/she normally act which differs from now: They're acting normal
- Has he/she had any problems in the past, if so please describe: Nope, none.
B) Fecals
- Describe (look any different than normal): Normal
- When was the last time he/she went: Normal
C) Problem
- Please briefly describe the problem and how long it has been going on: Well, it seems like their tummy area in general is full of air. I noticed I'd say two weeks ago. I decided to wait and see if there was any change. Overall, they're acting normal, it's just that.

Housing:
A) Enclosure
- Size: 20 gallon long
- Type (ex. glass tank): Glass
- Type of substrate: Repti-carpet
- Hides, how many, what kind: Three, one in middle, one on hot, one on cool
B) Heating
- Heat source: Heat pad
- Cage temps (hot side, cool side): Hot; 90-95 Cool; 80-85
- Method of regulating heat source: plug or unplug heat pad
- What are you using to measure your temps: Heat probe
- Do you have any lights (describe): Yes, but I don't use them unless it's mid-winter and really cold, so they're not in use now.
C) Cage mates
- How many (males, females): None
- Describe health, or previous problems: None

Describe Diet:
A) Typical diet
- What you're feeding (how often, how much): Mealworms, 3-5 every other night
- How are you feeding (hand fed, left in dish, ect): Hand fed
B) Supplements (describe how often)
- What vitamin/minerals are you using (list brands): I use repashy vitamins. I dust my stuff every meal, I read on another thread here that's what you're suppose to do with the particular brand.
- What are you gut loading food with: Carrot, oatmeal, and potatoes

belly full of air?, I have not heard that one before. Can you post a picture?, you should invest in a scale aswell to monitor weight:main_robin:...its very hard to believe your leo is growing on 3-5 mealworms every other day and is 6-7 months....or do I just overfeed lol.

Their belly looks normal, it jsut feels like its full of air, so a picture wouldn't help. I noticed no difference till I touched their belly. But, I suppose I'll get a picture when I get home, I doubt it'll help though.
The mealworms are quite large, and they grow perfectly fine. Once my thing of mealworms for them is gone I'll be switching to superworms.

Reptiles don’t usually generate much gas in the gastrointestinal tract unless there is a problem. It could be they are just gaining weight. Are they defecating on a normal basis?

I do not see a reason to worry if they are acting totally normal.

I suppose so, maybe I'll try mixing that up, i feed every other day though.
Though, as said, I'm a worrywort and there may be nothing wrong, but I hadn't seen anything about it, so I decided to ask.

My daughter was holding one of my geckos and swore it farted on her. Maybe it had a bit of belly air :)

That's pretty funny xD That may be their case... but yea, I worry a lot xD I just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong, I had a feeling there wasn't but I wanted to be positive.
