Belly Worries

Hello all,
One of my leos may be having some belly problems. He hasn't been pooping as much, and his belly is quite swollen. He is the bigger of my two leos (my female is a picky eater :p ) but I still think his belly is bigger then usual. I have felt around and he doesn't seem to be overly agitated when I do... I stared giving him warm baths ( I got a scream out of him finally! I think they are adorable:D ) and massaging his tummy. I put a few drops of oil on his nose to try and 'grease him up' so to speak. My point in this thread is to share pictures of him and ask advice. I'm worried and prepared to bring him to the animal hospital but I want to make sure I can do everything for him at home before bringing him in. I also would like to know how long I should wait before bringing him in and all that jazz.
Thank you so much!!!

Looks like a very chubby female to me...In case of constipation, what you are doing is right, if the warm bath and massage doesn't work, take her to a bus ride. Often times the leo will poop during a bumpy bus ride.

Ah! I hadn't heard of a ride yet! I shall do that. Thanks.

Any idea of how long I should keep trying the baths an whatnot before a vet is needed? I did just get some supers for them but my thoughts were leaning towards other reasons for the bigger belly. I hope I'm wrong and hes just chubby! :p

Honestly just imo...I think he/she needs to go on a diet :p What's his/her weight?

How long has she/he not pooping? Try the warm baths two times a day for 15mins...if that doesn't work bring him with when you go to pick up fast food or something.

Hope she gets her stuff moving soon :p

a little over 2 weeks since I've noticed new poops. I had been feeding him supers and it was probably around 3/4 twice a week. For the last week he hasn't touched any crickets. The swollen belly has just occurred, that is why I am slightly concerned. He is still moving around but it seems like he is dragging himself on his belly. :( The pet store I bought him from is letting me bring him in today to check him out. Hopefully he will tell me I have a fat gecko and I can just feel foolish!

Also, here is a better picture of his junk, lol if he is a she, oh well, better to find out late than never!

I think you have an ovulating female, see that pink spot where your finger is? Any chance she is carrying eggs? Sometimes its hard to see when they're too chubby.
