ok, for my housing for geckos, i use plastic to-go soup bowls from Carrabbas.(that is probably spelled wrong) but they are the perfect houses. i you can easily fit many in a tub, and more than one gecko can fit in them. for moist hides, i just cut a hole in the side, and keep the lid on with a moist paper towel in it. they absolutely love them. they are also very durable, and washer machine friendly. so, next time you go out to that restaurant, or a chain of them, ask for some of those. :main_thumbsup:

also, i use, as you can see, the bottom of a water bottle for the water dish. you just cut the bottom out, and it is perfect. when you are poor, you start to see everything something you can use for your geckos.

I use empty butter and cream cheese containers for my geckos too. They are the same size as the ones you are using. I know what you mean when it comes to using everyday things for cage accessories.

TIP: I take a knife or pair of scissors and rough up the insides of the containers. I do this to create a rough surface to help aid the gecko when shedding.
