Best material for a hide

I want to make a hide this weekend do you guys think wood would be good or plastic are even cardboard, I don't know what do you guys think and what's the best for a hide ???

I dont really think theres a 'best' hide. Some people use cheap plastic tupperware container but works just fine and gets the job done. I guess there are factors you can take in. I have a wooden log hide where my leo loves to lay on. I also have a normal cave. A wood hide wold have a natural look and can aid in shedding .

A material easy to clean would be best. Cardboard can't be cleaned and should definately not be used if you are using an overhead light bulb.
