What is the best incubation set up using vermiculite. How do you heat it and how much water do you add to it?

Will take any advice

I just spent an hour typing a very discriptive post on how to icubate your eggs and by the time I was done I wasn't logged in any more and lost it all. if no one replies by the time I get home I'll try again.:)

Ok here's how I do it: I use a plastic container that's approx. 5" x 5" 3"tall. I put up to 6 eggs in each container and can fit 9 containers in my hovabator. I do not add any holes to the container, and I do put the lid on. Put the empty container on the scale, add 2oz. of vermiculite, 4oz. water, and stir well. Using the back of my finger I gently pat down the vermiculite making an even surface. Using the tip of my finger I make indentations the approx. size and shape of the eggs to set the eggs in. Gently remove the eggs from the lay box and set them in the indentations the same way you removed them (don't rotate them). I gently push some vermiculite up against the eggs (not completely covering them). I like to open the containers once a week to candle them and let some fresh air in. The water I add to the vermiculite is slightly warm...your eggs incubate at a temp that's not quite as warm as your body temp. so as soon as you feel the running water getting warm, your good to go. Once all the eggs in your container hatch, toss the vermiculite and clean your container real good. As for Incubation temps. search around for desired temps. for male, female, or mixed.
hope this helps, and I hope I didn't forget anything. If I did I'm sure someone will add to it. :)
