Best Temp Gun For Price?

In your opinion, what's the best brand of temperature gun for the price?
Also would you prefer a temp gun or several digital thermometers?
I have multiple cages, so having thermometers everywhere is getting rather expensive. Would also be nice to get an acurate measurement of the floor temperatures.

I prefer temperature guns for measuring temps over anything. I use the PE-2 temp gun. In the past I had the PE-1 temp gun. Both are great.

I use one for r/c cars made by duratrax. Already had it so no sense buying another. It was less than 20 when I got it. harbor freight has them cheap 15$
