Best way to introduce for breeding

One of my females is now large enough to breed, so I have been putting her in with my male. She keeps on biting him and he gives up after a few tries. Do you guys have any tips for introducing them? Should I put the male in the female's tank or the female in the male's? Thanks

She might not be ovulating. If she's attacking him, she's obviously not interested in breeding, and trying repeatedly is just stressing them both out.

Also, this is just speculation, so someone with experience in this correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm wondering if maybe introducing them in a separate setup would be better. That way there are no issues with either of them being territorial.

I agree that she's probably not ovulating but don't think a separate enclosure is necessary. If she's ovulating she should accept the male. Look up some threads about what ovulation looks like. I know there's a sticky in the section on breeding. Once you have an idea of what it looks like and see it in your female she should be ready to breed. I might only check at most once every week or two. More often is unnecessary and can stress both geckos out.
