Bet time to feed

Hi, I am new to geckos, my little guy doesn't seem to want to eat, I got him to eat one little cricket the other day and I have left mealworms in his bowl all day and night but he hasn't eaten anything for two days. I even left a cricket in there overnight, not my favorite thing to do because I know they can bite him but I thought maybe he would eat at night since seems to be up at night more. But no such luck. We just got him Saturday so I know he might need a little while to adjust, but how long do I let him go without eating before I get really worried? He is so little only about 4 inches long.

He may just need a little more time to get comfortable :) Give him a week before you start to worry too much. Something you can do to stimulate him to eat worms is make sure the worms in his dish are fresh. When they sit in the dish for a few days they get listless and dont move much. If you switch the batch that's in the bowl out every day, the worms should be more attractive to the gecko.

Ok I will try to switch them out and see what happens. I left a cricket in though and it is very active but he doesn't seem to care about it. I am sure he is fine and will be fine I just don't want anything to happen to him.

Just shut all the lights out and he came out to explore so I dumped in about 6 little crickets and he chased them all down and ate them. I am so relieved he is doing ok. I am not used to having to only feed every other day, atleast that is what I was told to do hope that is right. My beardie has to be fed everyday when he was a baby I had to feed him twice a day plus veggies everyday. Works for me though, keeping fresh veggies in the cage is alot of work.
