Better pics of Nix

I definitely think Nix is a beefcake!! She always wants to eat. Does she look too fat to you guys? FYI these pics. were taken after she ate a Goliath worm.

She's a bit chunky, so I'd watch her and make certain she doesn't get too much fatter, but at least she's healthy and has a good appetite.

i'll feed her a bit less. It's hard because she is always sticking her head out of her log to see if I'm going to give her something. She's been doing nothing but making up for the 3 weeks she didn't eat. She's so cute!!

I'm on here way too much! But since I've been following along with the trials of Nix, I like to see the updates.

It's difficult not to give in and feed them. I'm having a battle of wills with my gecko at the moment. I want him to eat ReptiWorms, and he's trying to hold out for roaches... I don't want him to be a picky eater!

Agree with Rachel, Nix looks a bit chubby but not so much it's alarming. More like 'I'mma poke your chubby belly!'

Curious as to what you're feeding her?

Hi rothsauce,
I feed her crickets, Dubai roaches, goliath worms and mealworms. She likes to eat a huge amount. She can and will eat 7 large crickets on cricket night. She likes to eat 2 Goliath worms and she will look for more. On mealworm night she's been known to chow down 30 of them!!

i don't leave food in her cage. I do scheduled feelings with her so I know just how much she's eating. She's a pig!! I guess I'll just cut back the amount I feed her. She also wants to eat everyday. I only let her eat every other day.

i'm glad to hear she's not obese. Just a little chubby.

I started feeding my adults every four days or so because many were getting too big. She looks a little chunky, but not too bad at all. Being female, I prefer to see them a tiny bit bigger since most lose weight during ovulation.
