Big Problem Maybe?

what are the causes, sign's and and picture if anybody has one of mouth rot
ive checked her mouth and she has a blue part on the roof of her mouth no black but shes been rubbing her neck along the floor for about 30mins and im getting very sick to the stomach about it any help and advise needed.

anyone, also she a healthy girl i will try to get some pic of her and what she doing its exactly like she's shedding but she's not

when i did check her mouth i used a q-tip and rubbed the side of her mouth and she bit the cotton could she have some cotton stuck in her mouth that she's tryin to work down?

That blue spot you are describing sounds like a vein that can be found on the roof of the mouth.

was the rubbing before or after you checked her with the cotton swab? If its after, she probably got some caught up in her mouth and was trying to get it off her mouth. I have seen some of our geckos do that when eating silkworms. Sometimes the silk will catch onto coco fiber or something and they will rub their mouth on everything trying to catch the silk on something else and off of their mouth. Is she showing other signs of being ill, or you just thought you'd make sure?

it was after because i give them all a complete check over once a week and no she seems fine apart from not eating for a few days but i think that's because of the time of year and also could she smell a male and she's getting ready to breed?

Hi - mine had a mild mouth infection and the roof of his mouth was dark red/black. Vet prescribed two weeks worth of antibiotics and that cleared everything up!
