now for the question... I think I need to get a bigger heating pad and another light... In the smaller tank the UTH was around half the size. But I noticed that the flag stone I have doesn't seem to heat up the ground really. I believe its because of the stone being too thick. Any ideas?

Oh yeah and TFMM's 9' long!!! He's pretty big so how much should I feed him cause last night he only ate one king worm!!

Adult leos only need to eat 2-3 times a week really. If they eat at least 4 king mealworms (superworms) or large crickets every 2-3 days they're fine. I drop superworms in one at a time and make sure they eat each one. I feed them until they're not hungry anymore. Usually they don't eat more than 6 or 7 at most. Often times 3 or 4 and they're good.

The new enclosure size looks good for 2 leos... I think 3 might be pushing it, but it might be okay if they get along well. Leopard geckos don't really need lighting, and I think bright lights freak them out a bit. I just let mine get some natural lighting from open windows. If anything I would cut it down to just one light (or none) as opposed to adding more. A red light for night viewing does not disturb them.

If you get a bigger UTH make sure to use a thermostat and start with it all the way down at first, making small adjustments until you get the temp up to around 88-90 degrees. The UTH takes 1/2 hour to warm up.

Unless I was designing a large habitat, like 60 gal or bigger, I prefer simple setups. I think you kinda have too many decorations/hides already, but that's just my taste. If your geckos are happy then it's fine. I just go with a cage carpet, one good sized hide per gecko, a water dish, a calcium dish, and a moist hide (tupperware with hole and moist sphagnum moss). That way they've got everything they need, and plenty of space to sprawl out when they sleep, or move around and chase crickets/superworms.

Im not feeding them/ him in that cage... Ive read in several other threads that some people have a second cage for feeding. As you can see in the new cage theres too many spots for cricks to hide. So Im keeping the 10 for feeding. Also, Ive heard many people say that the leos like to hide alot, right now I only have two hides and no moist hide (going tonight no worries:main_thumbsup: ) So My plan is at least two more hides most likely both will be humid hides.

We use that log hide for our 2 smaller leo's and they both seem to like it. Except one seems to really LOVE IT and love staring at you with the head poking out of the middle hole.

The larger tank definitely looks like there's a lot more room for your geckos to exercise and roam around during the night - more space than the first one!

You could fit 2-3 leos in there nicely, just watch their size, weight, and bullying - because having 2 females doesn't guarantee zero fighting. Most of the time they get along, but it's always nice to take precaution :) Good luck, I hope it all works well! :)
