I was wondering how long they should be before i move them into a bigger tank. Right now i have 2 in a ten gallon tank. one of them is 3 and a half inches. My other one is about 3 inches. Ive had them for probably a month now and there doing fine. They are eating good, i can handle them easily, and they don't seem to have any illnesses yet.

I'd eather get them each a 10g, or keep them together in a 20g. May I ask what that small area of paper towel is for? And yes, the probe needs to be lowered

I do that too, I use reptile carpet but it's a pain in the but to clean the carpet afetr every potty, so I just put a piece of paper towel on the other side of the tank where he goes potty, problem solved!

Don't make it too much smaller, I did that and they just moved off the small piece of paper towel, so I just covered half the tank so there are no accidents on the carpet.

The 10g should be fine for the next few months unless they
fight, or one bullies the other.
I hope they are both female! two males in the same tank will
almost always fight and possibly injure each other seriously.

I always house my gex seperatly. They tend to do better when
they live alone (there are always exceptions, not everyone agrees
with me) as they are solitary animals by nature.

Just make sure you have enough hiding places in case one decides
not to share.

Since you are having them together at such a young age, they may
very well get used to each other. In rare cases, even 2 males that
were housed together since hatchlings can live in peace :)

On the other hand, even 2 females can fight and try to kill each other,
and it can happen suddenly after a long period of getting along.

You should always have a spare tank set-up just in case.
