If anyone in Birmingham is interested in rehoming their leopard geckos, then I am available as a caretaker. I'm currently housing four leos and have plenty of room for more. :main_thumbsup::main_thumbsup:

Thats a wonderful thing your doing. People need to know these things. I drove almost 2 hours to a turtle haven recently because I felt I was not able to properly care for my turtle anymore( I always said if it came to a point when I was unable to give my animals the care they need I'd give them to someone who could however heartbreaking it might be). I made a good choice. People need to know there are other options, so many people release animals into the wild and I've been told once there captive they can't fend for themselves in the wild. Anyway thanks again.

Thank you good sir! I agree that if you have babied your animal it's entire life, then how do you expect the hunting reflex to be as sharp as a wild animal that is in the same age? Great persistence with your turtle. That is honorable to go two hours away for the safety of your little buddy,
