ok ive seen my male mate many times with different females but this last time has me wondering. he usually does tiny nips from the tail up toward the neck. one day i opened the cage and my tremper kind of walked over my male. he responded with a bite to the mid section and would not let go. i tried to stop him and even dumped water from his water bowl on him hoping he'd let go. he didnt, it left no marks but had me a little upset. is this because he has been sexually frusterated or maybe angry she stepped on him? i never really saw males fight with females unless it was after a refusal and the female wasnt interested. oh and size isnt a factor cause shes huge. any feedback on why he would bite her like that would be appriciated.
