I have looked up how to make blackholes and from my understanding i can make them by breeding my supersnow female with my eclipse enigma male. Is this correct? This will mix the snow and enigma dominant traits and the eclipse will be het since its recesvie.

The Blackhole is a Snow Enigma Eclipse so basically you will make them on the second generation.

Black holes are snow eclipse enigmas, so you would need a snow eclipse or het eclipse, or a super snow eclipse or het eclipse paired up with your BEE. Right now if you paired up your super snow with your BEE, the offspring will be het eclipse.

The information i read on blackholes must have been wrong then, it said it only had to be het eclipse to get the lack of coloring.

So next year i would have to breed two hatchlings together right? Would it be better to breed the hatchlings with a non-enigma het eclipse so there is less of a chance of enigma syndrome? Will this still give me the same results?

lori is right though, to produce an eclipse, both parents have to be eclipse themselves, or het eclipse. in other words, if your super snow is het eclipse, you could produce black holes by pairing her with your bee. but if she isn't het eclipse, the offspring will only be het eclipse. so if you produce snows from that pairing, you could breed them back to your male BEE next year and have a chance of producing black holes. and yes, you could incubate some of your pairings this year for male, some for female, then breed siblings together for a chance at black holes as well. as far as the enigmas, i never recommend breeding enigma to enigma

Im not planning on doing any breeding with the Enigma this season because i have just got him and dont fully understand the morph yet. Im just so excited to have his genes added that i want to know what i can make. :]
