Hello all,

I was wondering what would be the normal price range for some BB's. A buddy of mine is selling 1.1 pinkish white juvy bb's. One gecko has 2 solid red eyes and the other has one normal eye and one snake eye. He wants to sell both of them to me for $80 total. I feel it's a steal but I wouldn't want to rip off my friend if they're worth much more. What do you guys think?

They are worth much more than that! How much, I don't know... I've seen them go for $30 (wholesale) up to $250 depending on which strain of albino they are.

I kind of figured. They are tremper strain. I am in quite a predicament! Should I just buy them and run?:main_yes: Or should I tell him the truth and sell them to someone else for more.:main_no: Oh the torture!

I say buy the one with 2 solid red eyes. I want one badly, but I'm waiting to make my own... with the Bell strain

I agree with Marcia. I've seen prices from around $60 or so for babies up to over $200 for adults pending the strain. I think the lv are a little more than the trempers.

420-good lick with the bell blazing project.

If the guy who's selling the geckos is your friend, and you plan on keeping it that way, then let him know about the prices (or offer him a little more), then let HIM make the decsion.

Great news! I just got home from my buddy's place. I ended up purchasing the geckos from him. After a couple of beers (more than that actually), he was nice enough to let me have them for $60 TOTAL. I will post pics of all of my geckos soon including these new ones. I hope I can get a good shot of their eyes.

About the lowest I've seen for a Tremper BB is $80 each (though they are usually at least $100). The lowest for a LVBB was somewhere around $150 - $175 (that was a year ago that I saw that!). Trempers are certainly much more common than the LVBBs.

Of course, if you're lucky enough to have a wholesale connection, they are less.

:2thumbsup: I hope you decide to keep them instead of turning around and try to make a quick buck. Karma my friend, karma...

ive seen 30-500 depending on quality.

To the best of my knowledge, last year was the first time that the LV/RW Blazings were available. They were $350-400. This year, it looks like they're down to $150-225. I haven't really followed the Tremper Blazings too much; all I really know is that I paid $125 for my red-eyed male.

My memory is foggy at best. I remember Garrick from CrestedGecko had one (maybe 2) at the Tinley show last year. You literally had to fight to get to his tables, so I only caught a glimpse of them. I could be WAY off on that price I saw.
