Blazing Blizzard?

I have heard that making a blazing blizzard is very hard. I want to try, for I have a bell albino and a Mack Snow Blizzard, whose babies are going to be Mack Super Snow Blizzards. How hard is it, for I want these to be the debut for my business. Please email me at [email protected] or comment below.

there is tremper and rainwater/las vegas blazing blizzards that are easy to find and not too exspensive. there is bell blazing blizzards they are the ones that are harder to get to prove out and make more. if you want blazing blizzards there is many breeders that have them available and breed them.

Now crossing a Bell Albino with the mack snow blizzard will result in half of the offspring being Mack Snows that are het for blizzard and Bell Albino and the other half being Normals het Bell and Blizzard. Only way to make more blizzards is to breed two blizzards or hets. Also ou can't make super snows without breeding two mack snows together with sometimes you can breed a linebred snow with a mack snow and result in a super snow but its not often.

more experienced breeders if im wrong chime in too, im tired this morning

also i dont know what your goals are for breeding but many breeders do not profit off of breeding their geckos. Im lucky if i make back money to replenish stock and buy food from the money i sell my geckos. Its more of a hobby than a business.

The Breeder told me she was bred with a Blizzard Super Snow. So 50% will be Snow Blizzards and 50% will be Super Snow Blizzards. Thanks for clearing up some light.:main_thumbsup:

all the offspring will be mack snow 100% het bell & blizzard, you can not get snow blizzards or SS blizzards in the first generation.

exactly you can't get Super snow blizzards from a first generation with a Bell Albino. unfortnately i hate to tell you but the breeder was wrong. Except since the pairing isn't snowxsnow, i don't think all will be macks half will be macks and half normals/hypos whatever all het for bell and blizzard

still from my knowledge unless you breed 2 snows together you can't have all snows come out, unless the bell is snow bell then it will be a 50/50 mix unless it was the blizzard snow bred with another snow blizzard then you have the possibly of super snow blizzards coming out. just like when you breed a mack to a tangerine you have cremcicles come out and probably some normal snows too im not sure but its not all snows coming out.

ok I'm new to leos I was into balls so I do understand some genetics but not sure if it works the same. If you have a super snow thats the homo form of a snow and when bred to anything all babies would be Snow ( het for super snow) if gecko genetics work the same as balls do, any super would produce all hets for that super ie super snow, super hypo neither would produce just normals. please let me know if it works the same

super snow crossed into a normal will produce all mack snows, its a co dominate trait.
SS x snow= 50% snows 50% Super Snows

for example a super hypo tangerine bred to a normal will produce babies with varying degrees of tang/hypo influence. Its a line bred/dominate trait

Snow X Snow does not create all snows. It will create about 25% Normals, 50% snows, and 25% SS. The only way to get all snows it one of the parents must be a Super Snow.

i don't know whos bred to what but from info so far these are possible outcomes with a genetics calculator. but you will know for sure when eggs hatch since sometimes geckos can have unknown genes that even the breeder doesn't know about. good luck with them. i hope some nice babies come out from them.
