I've been thinking about getting into these recently but can't find very many people who breed them . Want to show yours off ?

I noticed usually BB's run for $50 but when they have the Tremper Albino line in them it increases there price 3-5 times

The Tremper ones look a whole lot nicer but what are the genetic reasons for this ?

edit: Also with the snake eyes will they transfer if you breed 2 BB's with 100% snake eyes or do you have to breed different morphs ?

BB means Blazzing Blizzard, which is an albino blizzard. Your probably thinking about regular Blizzards which have no albino genes. They usually run about 50, the BB's run higher.

Yes theres is three types of BB Tremper,las Vegas, Bell. Normal blizzards dont have the albino genes in them.

so there is no difference between the three types except they cant be bred with a type thats not theres ? why are the tremper ones popular ?

i forgot to say something about your question...BB come in different strains. They can still be bred with any other kind of BB, it just has a different gene for the albino part in them. I was never told what strain mine are. I never heard about trempers being more popular, but it may be because they want those genes in them or they are better color?

Actually, the only BB albino strains you will see right now on the market are Tremper and Rainwater. The only Bell BB to ever be produced (to my knowledge) was by Kelli at HISS and it passed away not too long after hatching.

Yup, I'm trying to remember how long it lived... shame, gotta wonder what would have happened if Justyn hadn't meddled... oh well, it is what it is. I think we'll see another one day soon.

I LOVE the Blazing Blizzards, but they look exactly like Mack Snow Patternless, so I can't tell them apart as adults

like all the blazing blizzards They are a combination of blizzard and a strain of albino. Its really difficult for the genes to Lock together to make BB's Thats why its so hard because its a 1/200 chance that the albino and blizzard morphs will lock. I think there is no bells because the bell albino gene is really really hard to get locked in. Tremper I think is the easiest and so I think thats Y they are popular because they were the first. Like all albino strain they are only compatible with the same strain of albino.

yeah I know I regestered here a month after it was created . I just could have sworn I read it here ...lol I didn't even think it was that long ago I thought it was like 06 or 07....heh
