It has pictures of the gecko on there he is the smallest one, there are two pictures of him as a hatchling too. The bigger ones are his parents, my two healthy adult leos.

About your leo:
- Sex - Unsure ( I just state him as a male for now )
- Age & Weight - 8 Months (Forgotten his weight, he was barely anything last time the vet checked)
- How long have you owned your leo - 8 Months ( He was a hatchling from my two healthy adults)
- Where was he/she obtained (ex. Pet store, breeder, wild caught, friend) - My own geckos.

A) Health/History
- How often do you handle your leo - I handle my leo almost every day for a short amount of time
- Is your leo acting any different today? If so how does he/she normally act which differs from now. - No
- Has he/she had any problems in the past, if so please describe. - Bad sheds
B) Fecals
- Describe (look any different than normal) - Skinnier, bad eyes.
- When was the last time he/she went the vet - 3 Weeks ago (He's had treatment and has improved a lot but not sure if he will fully recover without more vet visits)
C) Problem
- Please briefly describe the problem and how long it has been going on - Had infection in his eyes and cheeks, one pus ball popped on his cheek the other is slowly going down, his eyes are looking better but my vet said he was probably blind, is this permanent?

Housing:
A) Enclosure
- Size - 15 Gallon
- Type - Glass viv
- Type of substrate - Reptile Carpet
- Hides, how many, what kind - 1 stone kind, another bamboo kind
B) Heating
- Heat source - Heat mat
- Cage temps (hot side, cool side) - Unsure
- Method of regulating heat source - /
- What are you using to measure your temps - Got nothing
- Do you have any lights (describe) - Just room light
C) Cage mates
- How many (males, females) - None
- Describe health, or previous problems

Describe Diet:
A) Typical diet
- What you're feeding (how often, how much) - Mealworms and crickets, every day about 4-5 depending on how hungry he is
- How are you feeding (hand fed, left in dish, ect) - Hand fed with tweezers (I don't think he can see so i have to poke his nose with the food)
B) Supplements (describe how often)
- What vitamin/minerals are you using (list brands) - Reptoboost (From vet) Calcium Powder
- What are you gut loading food with - Haven't got a container for the food to gut load in

My gecko stumpy has actually started to eat again and his appetite is massive. The real issue was i didn't know what to do next for him, i still give him two soaks a day to bathe those eyes. I need to fatten him up though.

oh wow, he does look really skinny... he might have MBD, but only a vet can tell you for sure...

can i ask you to please fill this out? it will help us determine any advice we can give you --->http://geckoforums.net/f130-health-medications/70912.htm

also, if he isnt eating at all, you could try GGG slurry. That slurry has saved the life of quite a few resces of mine over the years, and could be the calorie boost your little guy needs to get his appetite back. Here are the links to the recipe-

edit: actually this one is probably better suited to where you live ;)

It looks like he has been shedding really poorly. He probably needs higher humidity and soaks once or twice a day to help with his shedding issues as I see a lot of shed stuck on his toes and probably eyes. Fill out the info in the thread Dinosaur posted and let us know how you are keeping him and we can help give advice about how you might change your husbandry to help him out.

You need to get something to measure your temperatures with. A thermometer with a probe stuck on the floor of your tank would be best. I wouldn't be surprised if your heat mat is really hot. It's great that you've taken him to the vet but he may need a few more visits until he's in the clear. Soaks are good but you need to get the shed off his toes. use a cotton ball or your fingers to gently work the shed off after he's soaked for 10-15 minutes. If the shed doesn't come off with gentle pressure soak him for a bit more and try again. With the amount of shed that is built up he may lose several of his toes. It looks like he may have lost several already on his right feet. Your geckos also could probably use a high quality vitamin supplement like Repashy calcium plus. Sometimes a lack of vitamin A can cause or exacerbate minor issues. You should also provide him with a moist hide in his tank and mist his tank daily for extra humidity until the shedding issues go away. Moist skin is pliable skin and it won't constrict the blood flow to his toes as badly.

When you bring him back to the vet I would ask about any treatments that can be prescribed that may provide moisture directly to the eye. I had a boy with a bad eye issue a couple of years ago and a terramycin ointment helped to keep the shed in his eyes moist and eventually the eye cap popped off and he now has 95% vision in both eyes when the vet thought his eyes were doomed.

Before you decide to breed your geckos again I would suggest you make sure your husbandry is 100% and you have proper containers and supplies to feed and house your geckos and their babies correctly. Without perfect husbandry baby geckos often develop health issues that worsen as they grow.

Good luck and keep us posted on how he does!

I'll keep you posted on how he goes :)
My vet did tell me he was probably completely blind but before he could actually see my hand moving side to side but only close up, which is a good sign. He has a moisture hide but i need to get him a new tank as the one he has contains many air vents, it is a nuisance as it doesn't keep the moisture in.

looks to me like he has a build up of skin on the eyes, people have been successful at removing these with eye ointments ect. sometimes the eye will have been irreparably damage though. just because it reacts when you wave your had in front of his face doesn't mean he can see unfortunately. animals can sense the change in air currents and pressure cause by the hand movement s itself. is your vet a specialist reptile vet or a standard vet. because if not i would encourage you to seek a reptile vet for sorting the eyes out as its realy a specialist matter and most vets will be inexperienced in this mater which could potentially do more harm then good in attempting to treat his eyes.

I'm taking him to the vets either tomorrow or Monday and i'm going to ask about eye ointments and i'm going to ask about different calciums he can have cause i think he needs more, he's opening his eyes a lot more now showing signs he can see a little but as you said maybe he can't, i can see his pupils clearly now though. He's eating a lot now too, he seems excited when i tap the glass cause that's how he knows it's dinner time, once my vet told me he was blind i started doing that and tapping him on the nose slightly with his food, then he'd eat it. The first vet i went to was a Reptile specialist but all the advice he gave me was to soak him, and that's when his eyes were really bad... so i tried searching via the internet for vets and i found on a reptile forums somewhere recommended, i think the vet i see specialises in reptiles but i'm not 100% sure, he seemed like he knew what he was talking about more than the other. There are other vets there that treat dogs, cats etc. But the vet i see, i haven't seen any of those animals go in with him.

I have some new photos up of him, i think he's gaining weight it looks like. Also he's keeping his eyes open a lot longer now than he was usually.

(The floor is messy because stumpy just got calcium all over it, due for a clean now haha)
Oh and he got a tiny bit of calcium on his eyelid, will this irritate his eye or will it be fine? he licked it out.
