Blizzard and highyellow

What would a blizzard breed with a high yellow create. would it be all normals??

Im pretty sure that would be normal het blizzards? (the very problem Im going to have my 1st year of breeding.

These will indeed give you 100% normals (some will have reduced spotting because of the high yellow parent) but all babies will also be heterozygous for blizzard which means that if you breed the babies to each other or breed a baby to its blizzard parent you have a:

normal het. blizzard x normal het blizzard (brother x sister)
25% chance of getting blizzards
75% normals of which some are heterozygous for blizzards unfortunately they all look like normals so you can't tell which ones are)

normal het. blizzard x blizzard (baby x parent)
50% blizzard
50% normal het. blizzard

Blizzard is recessive so you would need two blizzards or a blizzard and a het blizzard or two het blizzards to create more blizzards. Just thought I'd add that in.

oh ok so confusing. Well i was told my female is a high yellow still not sure until she shed a little more

If he turns out to be a BB would that make a difference?

the first gen offspring would still be all normals they would just be het for both albino and blizzard.

Just couldnt believe they had a baby bb for 20 buck had to grab him

I know this was answered already...but once again, I would like to put in my two cents. lol. A blazing blizzard = albino+blizzard (just think of blazing as albino)

Now, since albino is recessive just like blizzard, you would need a male and a female albino or het albinos to produce albinos. Same with the blizzard.

Do you kindof get it now? :main_huh:
