I got this female as a true Banana Blizzard (double homozygous Patternless Blizzard) from a guy who got her from Prehistoric Pets (originators of the morph) as such... Based on her looks and background I believe she IS a Banana Blizzard...

I never was able to prove her out and sadly she'll be leaving my collection soon... I would like to see what you guys think... :D

I don't think that guessing is going to do any good. If your not going to test breed her make sure that whoever gets her does. :main_yes:

That's not really the idea here... Just having fun... ;)

LOL! She loves her superworms!

To me she has a Blizzard head and body with a dirty Patternless tail... I would have liked to have proven her out, but it's just not in my agenda anymore...

She looks AWESOME.. and huge.. And weird.. All at the same time. I am excited about getting her over here. Has she bred for you at all?

Thanks man! I hope she does good for you guys... I tried her early last year and she wasn't receptive... After that I kind of just let her lay around and get fat...

Ahhhh, so that's where she's going! :D David, you will have to keep us updated when you breed her. I think she's really cool! :main_yes:

in my experience the banana blizzards always looked washed out. Then again some regular patternless can look washed out too. To me she looks like a nice, bright patternless. But as stated, only breeding can tell.

Knowing that she's leaving your collection, and that you were never able to prove her genetics, I personally would have only offered her out as a patternless at best and I'm not even sure if I would have mentioned her being a banana blizzard. The only way to know if she's carrying blizzard as well would be to breed her.

Pretty gecko either way!

I'm pretty sure he didn't guarantee anything. After all, David is trying to prove her out one way or another...:)

He told me it was a Possible Bannana Blizzard [Blizzard Patternless]. I will test breed it over few years. Whatever it is genetically.. its still a really cute gecko.

Personally i just don't think there's any such thing as a banana blizzard(blizzard + patternless).I just not seen enough evidence to convice me.I just think said to be banana blizzard are just high yellow blizzard het patternless.Sorry but they haven't been been bred enough to give a 100% result.

Banana bliz X bliz = bliz.
Banana bliz X patty = patty.

High yellow bliz het patty X bliz = bliz het patty.
High yellow bliz het patty X patty = 50%-patty het bliz & 50%-normals het bliz & patty.

The only real differant in the result is the normal and they simply haven't been breed enough. To prove 100% that a true banana blizzard exsists IMO.

I just have to show my siblings.

This is Lancelot. A banana blizzard (black eye). He got that washed out looking.

And this is Buzz, his sis. And I think she is a banana blizzard too. She looks very similar to yours with birth marks and everything, don't you think?

I have always heard that the difference is that most Blizzards have yellow on the top of their "bumps" but a true Banana Blizzard has it as the body coloring as well. Don't know how correct that is though....I would still vote Banana Bliz :).

I'm betting it's a true Banana Blizzard, and not one of those yellow blizzards that some scammers have tried to pass off as Banana Blizzards. I'll guarantee it's not a straight Murphy Patternless... I've been working with both morphs for quite awhile and have never seen a Murphy Patternless with paradox spots. It's not uncommon for Blizzards, though.
