By breeding a male blizzard to a female phantom. Should the offspring be 100% phantoms het blizzard?

I am hoping so, because there is a local breeder breeding this pairing and was hoping to get phantom offspring from her.

Your offspring will all be double hets albino and blizzard. Some may be snows, I'm not sure how the TUG snow genes work, and some may have some hypo influence. None will be Phantoms.

I do like the fact that you can get TUG snows out of the pairing.

I will have to do more readings on genetics, but can some one give a quick review on why the phantom phase will not be displayed in a blizzard x phantom pairing?

To be Phantoms in a nut shell a leo must express Tremper albino + TUG snow.

There are a couple ways to get Phantoms.

Talbino TUG snow(Phantom) X Talbino normal = Phantom.

Talbino TUG snow(Phantom) X Normal HET Talbino = Phantom.

Talbino TUG snow(Phantom) X TUG snow HET Talbino = Phantom.

Tallbino TUG snow(Phantom) X Talbino TUG snow(Phantom) = Phantom.

Talbino and Blizzard are both recessive traits.So BOTH breeders need express or carry the traits in question for the offspring to expess them.

re-opening an old thread, been gone for a while. The female in question, I am now aquiring from the lady who originally I was going to purchase the offspring from.

If I take her offspring that has been bred to a normal het blizzard. I should be getting

Normal HET TUG snow, Talbino, blizzard

for offspring?

Which inturn when breed together should be able to produce TUG Snows, or Talbino, or Blizzards by the third generation by line breeding?
