is this a blizzard?

also, what would you get if you bred a Blizzard (male) and Tremper Albino (female)?

Yes, it looks like one to me, but I could be wrong.

You'd get Normals that'd be double het for Tremper and Blizzard

it might also be a raptor because of the shape of his eyes

Um, I'm not quite certain what you mean by this, but eye shape is not an indicator for a morph lol. Eye color can be. And I don't believe in any way that that is a RAPTOR. RAPTORs are generally characterized by yellow body coloring and red eyes. If that gecko had any RAPTOR genes present in the phenotype, the eyes would appear red.

by normal, you mean something like this, right?

i'm very new at this, so i'm not sure what you mean by double het. does het mean that if those babies breed one day (the ones you say will be het), they'll have a chance of having tremper or blizzard babies? this is all so very confusing. lol, quite the learning process...

That's alright, no problem, glad you're willing to learn :)

Yes, a Normal is the regular wild-type looking gecko, generally yellowish-brown with black spots. All the other genetic mutations out there spawned from the normal leopard gecko.

Het stands for heterozygous. A Normal leopard gecko that is heterozygous for Tremper Albino and Blizzard will harbor those genes in its genetic material (known as the "genotype") but will not express those genes on the outside (known as the "phenotype") and will thus look like a regular looking leopard gecko. A gecko that is homozygous for Tremper Albino and Blizzard would be showing those two traits in the phenotype, and thus exhibiting a white appearance with albino eyes.

So yes, if the geckos het for Tremper & Blizzard were bred together, there is a chance they'll produce Tremper Albino and Blizzard offspring, as well as a small chance of producing Tremper Blazing Blizzard offspring, a combination of the two genes the normals were het for.

Some good websites to learn the basics of the leopard gecko morphs/basic genetics are:

Hope that helps some! :)
