I just realized how bloated my leopard gecko, Zoey is. (She's missing most of her tail so it's been hard to keep an eye on her weight). Back story: September she stopped eating and I was force feeding her carnivore care and doing belly soaks. She was suspected of having an eye infection due to stuck skin so she was treated with antibiotics. After about a month of this, she finally started eating. She only eats Hornworms but about 2 weeks ago the reptile store was out of them and I bought Wax Worms. She loved them! And because she has been constantly begging for food and I've been so happy she's been eating, I didn't realize how bloated she was getting. There's some fecal matter in the tank but not a lot. I tried to pick her up and she keeps chirping at me. She can't seem to get comfortable but keeps going to her food dish. I did a warm soak and tried to rub her belly in case she is impacted. I even bought some Mineral Oil. I'm going to try to sleep for a few hours and call the vet tomorrow. But if anyone has anything to add, I'll appreciate it. I'm sure I won't be sleeping much. If she's impacted would she be acting starving? Or could this be an intestinal parasite?
