Hi -

so i've encountered a new morph today but wasn't able to find any good information about it. What exactly is a blood cross? How would you define it from all other morphs out there? What are its's features?
i kept hearing morphs like blood tangerine, blood bell, etc. does any pne have a picture i can refer to?

regards,
yves

Blood hypo's are from JMG, when people say "Blood cross" of any kind it's just them crossing a Blood hypo from JMG into other morphs. Bloods are usually darker in color, almost red sometimes.

And to add to James, a lot of people also refer to saying they have their own blood line of Hypos because they line breed their own characteristics and traits that they desire and when they bring in a new blood, literally, its from a blood project that lines up with their project. Hence JMG crosses, where new blood is introduced, its an amazing addition to the project.

so technically speaking, anything with a hint of red on it will make it a blood morph? (with the exception of course to the red stripes)

No, it has to come from the "blood" blood lines in order to be called "blood"

This is correct. Blood is a specific tangerine line that JMG created. You need blood animals to call it a blood cross. I've been using his blood hypo stuff for years. They are even more beautiful in person.
