By Blue-Bellies you mean Sceloporus species, if so then no. They are not meant to be Pets considering that 99% of them are Wild Caught, they are full of disease and are generally very Jumpy.

I have one from around my house that got attacked by one of my cats who likes lizard hunting. I caught her with him in her mouth, and she had damaged one of his eyes. I am rehabbing him in the hopes his eye will heal up and I can release him. He is fat and sassy, but he still can't see out of the eye yet. I'll post a pic of him sometime. :)
