Bob update

Bob finished shedding today. I love it right after they shed, their scales look like satin! Here's my pretty boy in his new skin.

Thanks everyone.

Nope, no girlfriends for Bob. I have ZERO plans for breeding BPs. I am, however, a sucker for a beautiful snake ... so I wouldn't be 100% surprised if I get another BP in the future. If I ever get the chance to own a pied without going broke or my husband divorcing me....I WILL HAVE ONE! Pied BPs are the whole reason I ever got a snake; I just never found snakes to be something I wanted til I saw a pied.

I was actually a bit afraid of snakes (surprise!), so getting one was a big step for me. Bob is still growing, and will be for some time, so I'm happy to be able to grow with him. I love looking at him, but I still get a tiny bit nervous when handling him. Until that passes and I get my "snake legs" under me, I won't be getting anymore.

Shanti, back when I had snakes I was the same at first, but got over it eventually. My mom would even hold them sometimes! I had 1.1 Burmese, 0.1 BP and a little Striped Albino Cal King. I miss them, but I've got cats now so...
