Here's a quick photo of our beardie's cage. Face doesn't tend to move away from his food bowl and chills out on the rock most of the time.
My husband built this cage in 2006/07 (? can't remember), it was my idea to use a complete, velcro screened front. That way it doesn't break the view AND it's near impossible to escape from (not that Face would, he's a lump on a log..or rock).
