Something so amazing happened to me last night, and I wanted to share it with you! :)

Last night, due to an issue with the vivarium setup, I had to get the geckos out of the viv to clean it out (long story and I won't bore you with it! lol). When putting the geckos back in, I decided to try and get the shyest one to touch my hand by placing the box she was in into the viv and putting my hand next to the box so she had the option of walking on my hand. She put a hesitant paw on me, and when she realised I wasn't going to move, she climbed completely onto my hand, lay down and went to sleep!

I know that it was probably just she was feeling cold and my hand was a lovely warm heater for her, but it was so nice to have her rest on me of her own accord! After about 20 mins, she got up and calmly walked off :main_thumbsup:

It is always nice, to know that you have the trust of an animal though, isn't it? Even if you are just a heater. lol

Heater, food supplier, cleaning lady (or man)...these leos have the life! Congrats on your first "moment" of many with her.

thats cool that she just layed down on your hand and went to sleep. I wish my geckos would do that but they always are just running around.
