I have 2 leopard geckos, both female, in a 20 gallon tank. I recently went on vacation for 9 days, and left my geckos in the care of my friend. She called me every other day to let me know how they were doing. I wrote a ridiculously detailed care sheet so she'd know what to do. She did everything right. But my geckos didn't eat a single thing! They usually eat like little piggys when I feed them, but they didn't take a bite of food the whole time I was gone! They even counted out some mealworms and left them in the tank for a couple nights, hoping they'd be eaten. 2 days later, they counted out the exact same number of worms hiding under the warm hide. Is it possible they actually missed me??? Lol. I can't seem to find any reason why the wouldn't have eaten anything. Is it possible they recognize my scent or something...? Just thought it was peculiar. They're eating fine now that I'm back!
