I just got my leo two days ago and i am already starting to worry. I tried offering food the first day he got home (about 4 mealies) and i tried offering today and still he didnt eat. What should I do?

Should I leave mealworms in there 24/7?

A lot of geckos will not eat for the first few days, some the first week when settling into a new environment. I would put some mealies in a dish and leave them for him to find. What size mealworms are you offering him as compared to the gecko? I have found that mini mealworms don't attract enough attention, and they could care less!

What are your temps and general habitat rundown?

You can kinda see my geckos head and the mealworms. The temps are at a comfortable 93 on the warm side and in the high 70s low 80s on the cool side.

And I remember the first day I got him, I put in 4 mealies, and he ate 1 of them. But thats all he has eaten

Most Leo's have a lot of stress when they are put in their new homes. My first Leo that was shipped hadn't eaten for 2 weeks after I got her. Now she is a pig. Just be patient with them.

I hope you listen to our advice on this thread, and not get angry.

Pretty much, other then the sand which people have already said.
I'm not sure about humidity though, I've never used one of those gages.

I plan on getting rid of the sand soon. My parents just dont like the fact that they spent 12 dollars on sand and I want to throw it away. So once the sand gets dirty and its time to change i plan on gettting tiles.

I actually suggest raising the warm temperature a few degrees, maybe t0 96-97. The geckos use the heat to bask and get their body temperature up, so if it's too low he'll spend a LOT of time in there because it's more difficult for him to get his temperature up. If the warm side temp is higher, then he can chill in there for a little bit and them come out, because it wasn't as difficult/didn't take as long for him to get his body temperature up. Since he's not in his warm hide all the time, he'll be more able to explore his tank and maybe eat the offered mealworms.

Realistically though, many new geckos take up to a week to start eating, so no worries yet. Are the mealworms gut loaded?

I would change the sand out asap. Geckos like to eat substrate very fast. The 12 dollars will not matter if the gecko gets impacted. To add what everyone else said. Geckos in a new home are very stressed. They will not come out to venture much until they know the coast is clear so to speak. In the wild they have many worries, mainly predators. I would also cut back on some of the cage furniture for a few weeks. having to much in the aquarium may stress them out because they have know idea what is behind or beyond it. They like to see everything is clear. I have bought geckos that did not eat for a week while settling in. Then they become ravenous. Let him/her settle in. This means minimal handling movement around the cage (which is you, Only to feed, water or spot clean. After a few days time your gecko will settle in a should start eating like a champ..:)
