brand new leopard gecko... so they are nocturnals and loners?

Well i got a new leo today. im really happy with it. nice coloration and looks healthy. I do have one concern, leopard geckos are nocturnal. A problem arrises because i am also a nocturnal freak (we got alot in common) I stay up late hours of the night, anywhere from 1-5 A.M. I always have a light on at night. Will my strange sleep pattern interfer with the Leos sleep pattern? I cant really help it. is there anything i caan do?

My Leo is in my room and I keep my lamp on until about then. My Leo seems to be up at night and day most of the time. Mostly sleeping in midday. Your Leo will be fine. Just make sure the lights not very bright or right next to him. I notice that if I have my main light on he gets stressed and agitated. But hell be fine.

wow quick replies, i like it! I just turned off my big light and my little leo just woke up is running around ahaha. i guess i'll try to use a little lamp or something to support my habit. thanks guys!

I'm scared of the dark, and my geckos are all in my bedroom. I'm not sure my geckos even remember what night looks like - but they all sleep and wake up fine.
