It's amazing what a little paint and a lot of work can do.
Stacie and I just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. I had a local show on the Saturday before and the KC show on the day of. When I got home at 2am on Sunday I had a plan to make it up to her. I called my mom and my dad was already at my place. My mom watched the kids while my dad and I gutted our bedroom.
We painted an re-arranged the furniture. Then I built the shelf pieces to act as a type of headboard. Before the bed was in front of the window and blocked all the natural light. I bought the new bed set the Thursday before and used it to pick wall colors. It was going to be a surprise but Stacie found the bedspread in the garage while I was gone.
Any way here it is.
I still have some little stuff to get done in there but I haven't had the time since I started it to finish. All the work that did get done happened in one day.
I think I got the approval of the fans.
